The second largest national park in Uganda with 95 species of mammals and 610 species of birds. Savanna in north and south are home for large mammals like lion and elephant, Kazinga Channel is for birds, crocodile and hippo, Kyambura Gorge is for chimpanzee.

One of the largest forests in Uganda with 60 species of mammals and 335 species of birds which have been recorded. It is a home for more than 1,000 individuals of chimpanzees and 12 species of primates. It is also known as a bird watching site thanks to rare species like shinning-blue kingfisher and green-breasted pitta.

The nearest national park from Kampala with 68 species of mammals and 610 species of birds. It is known for herbivores like giraffe, impala, zebra and eland. Lake Mburo is a habitat for hippoes, African Fish Eagles.

Drive through the vast savanna in an open roofed vehicle and look for large mammals of Africa like buffaloes, zebras, elands, impalas and giraffes. Game drive starts at 4pm, it takes 3-4 hours. Tell your rangers, if you have your favorite mammal before you take off.

Horse safari in savannah
Take your horse and ride through the savanna of Lake Mburo for 1-2 hours. It is an exciting way to view wildlife like eland, zebras and buffaloes. Also commonly sighted are topi, duiker, bushbuck, and many other birds.

Boat trip along Kazinga Channel
Take a boat ride for 2 hours along the channel up to its end which connects two lakes. Its banks are habitats for reptiles like crocodiles and many species of birds like kingfisher and pelican, also resting place for hippo and buffalo.

Chimpanzee tracking at Kibale National Park
Walk in a rainforest with rangers and track chimpanzees which are the closest creatures to humans. The tracking starts at 8am and takes 3-4 hours depending on their movement of the day. Enjoy the beauty of the forest and observation of chimpanzees.
