The largest national park in Uganda,76 species of mammals and 450 species of birds are recorded. It is known for the Nile River which flows in the middle of the park and Murchison Falls, which are 40m high, also the narrowest point of the river. Savanna in the north bank is a home to large mammals like lions and elephants, Nile River is home to birds, crocodiles and hippos, Budongo Forest is home to the Chimpanzees.

Game drive at nothern bank
Drive with an open roofed vehicle in vast savanna and look for large mammals like lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalos and antelopes. Morning game drive starts at around 6:30am, it takes 3-4 hours. Tell your rangers if you have your favorite mammal before you take off.

Boat trip to the bottom of falls
Ascend the Victoria Nile up to the bottom of the Murchison Falls by boat. Both banks of the river are covered by deep green, also are habitats for reptiles like crocodiles and many species of birds, and resting place for hippo and buffalo. It starts at 2pm and takes about 3 hours. You have an option of getting of the boat at the bottom of falls and hike to the top of falls
